چکیده

DNA extraction is usually the first step to perform molecular studies. This process can be nonviable due genomic (gDNA) commercial kits prices. Furthermore, available protocols generally have high specificity, limiting their use specific sources of biological material. In order reduce costs, optimize time and laboratory logistics, besides demonstrate a versatile protocol, present study worked on an efficient protocol from somatic non-somatic cells, using material sheep as model. For that, gDNA was extracted whole blood, spermatozoa, hair bulb collected three adult sheep, transported at 5ºC stored -20ºC until lab procedures. After extraction, concentration purity were evaluated in nano spectrophotometer. blood greater (p < 0.05) than which turn superior spermatozoa. Also, and, followed by, sperm showed when compared cells. Adapting originally developed for bovine enabled obtain isolate different nucleated cells

Efficient genomic DNA extraction from low target concentration bacterial cultures using SCODA DNA extraction technology.

Methods for the extraction of nucleic acids are straightforward in instances where there is ample nucleic acid mass in the sample and contamination is minimal. However, applications in areas such as metagenomics, life science research, clinical research, and forensics, that are limited by smaller amounts of starting materials or more dilute samples, require sample preparation methods that are m...
